Every year, as part of our Clarus community partnership fund and ongoing mahi to give back, we donate $5,000 to one incredible charity, as voted on by our people at Clarus. This year’s winner was Ronald McDonald House (RMHC), which provides a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children, offering comfort and support during tough times.

Tammee Wilson, Regional Engagement Manager - Waikato for RMHC said the contribution helps keep the spirit of Christmas alive for families going through challenging times. “Christmas is a time for togetherness, and thanks to the support from Clarus, it helps us keep the doors open and the lights shining brightly so we can create cherished moments for families staying with us,” she said.

Tammee presented Helen Murchison, General Manager of Rockgas, with a Claurs-branded Christmas wreath at the RMHC House in Auckland.

Freya North, System and Support Coordinator for Rockgas, accompanied Helen, and Tammee gave them a tour of the facility. Freya remarked, “It was a great opportunity to learn more about the incredible work they do for families across New Zealand and how the donations make a difference.”

Thanks to the community partnership fund, we are grateful to support such a worthy cause this Christmas. For more information about our community involvement and the community partnership fund, you can read this page on our website: https://clarus.co.nz/about-us/community
